Mind you, this was the BEST experience I've had at this Wendy's. We were in and out with cold food and all of it within 40 minutes. The last time when I dined alone was worse. I personally don't care for Golden Arches or Gas Station Burgers, but save yourself the time (and food poisoning) by going to one of those close by at this intersection.
Note: Not all the things I listed happened to me personally while I was employed there, but I have witnessed it from others while I was employed there.
LISTEN! To all you peeps that have issues with this restaurant I understand, you all need to realize most of these employees are kids/high school students. They all do the best they can with the training and help they are given, sometimes things are beyond there control. These kids need a strong leadership which comes from higher up as in corporate NOT management at this restaurant. Kudos to the kids working and having a good work ethic, it will take you far in life, people do notice even if it's unsaid, some of these kids are currently still in school. Y'all do a good job keep up the good work. Coming from a Mother who has been in these kids shoes. Just keep your spirits up
I can't believe this location is still in operation. I pulled up at Wendy's at 7:24PM and didn't have my food in hand until 7:57PM. I saw at least 5 cars pull off because it was taking so long. There was a handwritten note under the order screen that listed items they were out of (at least 7-10 items). The staff was flustered because the orders were disappearing from the screen, as they automatically disappear after 15 mins (overheard the staff through the window). When I arrived at the second window, the young lady asked me for my receipt because she couldn't see the order. She apologized for the wait and I was on my way. When I got home, I saw they forgot one of my small fries. I wasn't too bothered though, because the fries had SO much salt on them that I couldn't even eat them. I've given this location many chances, as the wait is always over 10 mins. This location is losing so much business and someone from corporate needs to come check this chaos out immediately. I feel very bad for the staff members because they are nice kids, but there is clearly a lack of management here.
Details: Party of 3 each ordered meals. 2 sandwiches were served far too cold - the meat was at room temperature. The other sandwich wasn't served at all. 2 of 3 fries were at just above room temp. I'm surprised the health dept hasn't made the management fix their warmers or food prep process to serve at least lukewarm food.
My best experience at this Wendy's was a 1-star visit.
Because our 3rd sandwich wasn't ready, we patiently waited. 2 of us ate our meals and completely finished while waiting for the 3rd sandwich. When it was apparent that we had been forgotten about and were never going to be served, I waited over 10 minutes standing at the counter to even be acknowledged. Seven other guests ordered and then were served their meals during this time. When finally I was acknowledged, we waited another 4-5 minutes to get the sandwich. The clerk quickly blamed it on someone else. "The kitchen" forgot about it, she said. This was not during a busy time.
This location has food preparation issues and is under-staffed. Cold food served. Took 30+ minutes to receive all 3 burgers that we ordered.
If anyone plans to work there just to let you know, they're constantly changing management so there's no strong leadership. They threaten to fire you if you leave for a family emergency. There's alot of favoritism, for example: The favorite employee will have multiple no call no shows and no one will bat an eyelash , but another employee that has the same work ethic will have a no call no show, and management threatens termination. They promote people who've only worked there a few months vs. someone whos worked there for years (again, favortism). The list goes on but on the brighter side all the employees are very nice, couldn't tell you much about the the general manager because he's new, and the job is easy but when it gets crazy it can get overwhelming for everyone. Also keep the clock out tickets because sometimes hours get messed up. To sum up, Wendy's just needs to pull itself together. This is my warning.
Wendy's has pretty good food sometimes we'll go there but not all the time but when I do I usually get the chili I drink and ice cream dessert also a family restaurant
