Realtors didn't sign in, but still came in unannounced and more than once left the air conditioning at fifty degrees. Our electric bill was ridiculous with nobody living there!
Other realtors later made the same mistake until I posted a notice in the house stating where the lotlines were.
We had one contract but lost it when the buyers realized they had been misled on the lotlines.The realtor decided the other realtors would measure each time and not assume the logical lines were accurate. When the buyers found out they were getting a third of the land they thought they were, they fled.
In four months time they had lowered the price 25% from their original "sure we can get that price" estimate and still couldn't sell it.
I don't totally blame REIII, I think the realtors in Waynesboro in general do this more as a hobby than a professional occupation. REIII could have looked at the lockbox and seen who was coming and going, though, and didn't follow through. I would not recommend them or deal with them again.
One family visited five times and wanted to make an offer but we never heard about it until REIII lost the contract and the family approached us directly.
Realtors were so obnoxious to the man who owned the land behind us that he finally refused to speak to any of them. REIII should have just asked him nicely one time at the beginning what he wanted for the land, but each realtor went to him separately and none passed the information they got on to others.
